Designing of a High-Sensitivity and Low-Background cDNA Microarray

چکیده

The microarray is an efficient device to analyze the expression level of many genes at once. cDNA microarrays are a promising technique for elucidating and interpreting the mechanistic roles of genes in the pathogenesis of patient’s tissues. However there has not been available cDNA microarrays that be able to analyze with small amount of RNA for each target-tissue. Moreover, the possibility of crosshybridization with homologous genes to each probe has spoiled the reliability of data from microarray. Therefore, we developed a system to design a reliable microarray to study each disease. The system constructed highly non-redundant gene collection expressed in the specific tissue or organism from public databases. Then PCR primer pairs to make cDNA probes were designed for each gene in the database.
